Have you ever wanted to participate in scientific research but thought you didn’t have the proper know-how? Here is your opportunity to conduct important research as a Citizen Scientist without having to go through years of training and education!
Come join Michelle Eckman and Scott Kruitbosch as they lead a small team of Citizen Scientists to survey the birds that are using our Larsen Sanctuary to raise their broods. You will learn survey techniques and contribute important information to both our organization and national databases, all while enjoying a great walk in the woods and having fun finding birds.
Group size is limited, so make your reservations now. Our Chiboucas Trail is stroller-accessible and birders of all levels are welcome.
Meet at the covered trailhead at the Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center atFairfield’s Larsen Sanctuary. Bring your binoculars and field guides.
