2016 Big Day
The results are in. Frank Gallo and his team traveled throughout Connecticut on Sunday counting birds to raise funds for our Milford Point Coastal Center.
Their total: 179 species, about eight below their average (Frank says it was a slow migration day with few lingering ducks).
Still, 179 is a lot of birds!
We sincerely thank the team – Dave Provencher, Patrick Dugan, Dave Tripp, and Fran Zygmont, in addition to Frank. They worked hard and had fun doing it.
