Nurture your child’s natural curiosity in our new After School Junior Naturalist Program. Students ages 5-9 will meet on seven Wednesdays starting January 11th after school from 3:30-5. We will explore our natural world at Earle Park to entertain and educate your child. Activities will include making habitat and animal observations, journaling, drawing, photography and recording data. Studies show that spending time outdoors increases children’s test scores and creativity, improves focus and is great for their health – plus they will be awed by the world around them. Dress them for the weather; they will spend about 30-45 minutes outdoors.
This program will continue January 25th, February 1st & 15th and March 1st, 15th & 29th: a total of 7 classes at The Connecticut Audubon Society, 1361 Main Street, Glastonbury CT 06033. Admission is $13/child for members, $15/child for non-members. For questions or to register your child, please contact Kasha Breau at 860-633-8402 or email@example.com.
