Spring Lecture Series: “John James Audubon: the Nature of the American Woodsman”
Sunday, May 7
1 p.m.
Gregory Nobles, author of “John James Audubon: The Nature of the American Woodsman”, believes that one of Audubon’s greatest creations was himself. Nobles explores the irony of Audubon’s true nature: themas who took so much time and trouble to depict birds so carefully left us a bold, but deceptive, picture of himself.
Pre-registration required. To register call: 203-878-7440.
