Summer Camp Teachers Wanted

Connecticut Audubon Fairfield’s Summer Camp is a ten-week nature-based summer day program for children ages 3-12. A variety of themed-weeks are offered throughout the summer. Teachers will plan and teach a variety of topics within the weekly theme that allow children to experience the outdoors/nature through hands-on activities, games, hikes, guided nature explorations, arts and crafts all the while fostering a sense of environmental stewardship and developing a lifelong love of nature.

Camp sessions start June 19 and ends August 16.  Teachers must be available for orientation and training prior to the start of camp sessions. Salary based on experience.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be over 18 years of age
Minimum two years college education
Experience working with children and/or natural history
College level course work in education and/or natural sciences
Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions
First Aid/CPR a plus
