Wildlife Tracking & Monitoring Training/monitoring Hike

Become a Citizen Science Volunteer! We will be searching for animal track and sign and documenting the presence of large mammals such as fisher, river otter, black bear, and bobcat. Trained volunteers monitor study sites in Willington, Canterbury, & Woodstock quarterly. Training fee per hike: $50 CAS members; $60 non-members. Registration required at 860-928-4948 or pcoughlin@ctaudubon.org Willington/Canterbury to be added. All hikes are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and subject to change due to weather. Full training is six hikes; participants select hikes that suit their schedule throughout the year. Registration is required. Training fee per hike: $50 CAS members/$60 non-members.
