Fall Bird Seed Sale: Stock Up and Save 20%!
Saturday, September 29
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Nature Store at the Center at Fairfield will be offering premium bird seed at a 20% discount on Saturday, September 29. It’s the perfect time to start stocking up for the fall and winter! Backyard feeding contributes to the health and survival of birds during the colder months.
What to put on the menu? Most of the birds that stay in Connecticut are seed eaters. Seed and suet provide the calories and nourishment they need to stay warm and healthy, as the cold weather approaches and food becomes scarce. Good choices include black oil sunflower seed, safflower seeds, nyjer and suet – a great energy source!
Knowledgeable staff are always available to offer guidance on seed choice and feeder selection, and to answer general bird-feeding questions. All purchases will support The Connecticut Audubon Society’s environmental conservation and education programs.
The Center at Fairfield Nature Store, located in Fairfield at 2325 Burr Street, is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information call (203) 259-6305, x.109.
