An Evening with Teddy: The Conservation President
Friday, October 5
6:30 – 9 p.m.
(RSVP by September 28)
For the Center at Fairfield’s annual fall fundraiser, we’ll be turning back the clock for a special cocktail and buffet reception featuring our esteemed guest, President Theodore Roosevelt!
The evening will honor Judith Fay Richardson for her dedication and commitment to The Connecticut Audubon Society.
In addition to delicious hors d’oeuvres, the festivities will include a silent auction.
Our 26th President will be portrayed by Joe Wiegand, the nation’s premiere reprisor of Theodore Roosevelt. His performances have been featured internationally, at historic sites and museums – including the White House for President and Mrs. George W. Bush on Roosevelt’s 150th birthday. From Africa to the Amazon, Teddy, recognized as the “Conservation President”, will be brought to life through Wiegand’s delightful stories and personal anecdotes.
Ticket prices are – Kestrel: $75 per person, Merlin: $150 per person, Peregrine: $500 per person, Gyrfalcon: $1,000 per person or Bald Eagle: $5,000 per person. Proceeds support The Connecticut Audubon Society’s education and conservation programs in Fairfield.
