A weekend challenge celebrating the return of spring migratory birds

May 19, 2020 — The Connecticut Audubon Society’s annual Migration Madness Birdathon is back for 2020.

Starting Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, this family-oriented weekend of local birding is a fun and friendly competition to see as many bird species as possible over three days.

Whether you participate all weekend, or for a few hours, the main idea is to get outdoors and enjoy the birds!

All who take part in Connecticut Audubon’s Birdathon, with a pledge of any amount, will support environmental research, education programs and bird conservation projects around the state. .
