This White Pelican might well be on the list. Photo by Gilles Carter.

December 9, 2021 — It’s December, and at Connecticut Audubon that means it’s time for our annual Birds of the Year list.

This year we’ll be taking to Zoom to present our picks for Birds of the Year.

But there’s a new wrinkle. We are including some of  your picks as well!

Connecticut’s Birds of the Year will be on Zoom on Thursday, December 16, at 11 a.m.

Sign up for the Zoom presentation.

We promise great photos, great bird talk, and great fun.

The presentation will led by Executive Director Patrick Comins and by Miley Bull, our senior director of science and conservation. They’ll be joined by a dozen Connecticut Audubon members, staff experts, and people from the Board of Directors.

They will be talking about rarities, surprising bird-viewing experience, unexpected birds, life bird and more.

And take a look at our previous Birds of the Year:
