Birding Walk Thursday, April 14
8 – 10 a.m.
With spring now underway and picking up momentum, we are seeing new arrivals to the property daily. Tree Swallows are checking out nest boxes while Great and Snowy Egrets catch fish in the marsh. Plovers and Oystercatchers are back setting up territories while Osprey are busy getting settled back in for the nesting season. This walk will be led by Connecticut Audubon Society’s habitat steward, Stefan Martin. Members $20, non-members $25.
Participants will need to complete a waiver and return to our office manager.
Waivers will also be available the day of the program.
