Most of North America’s shorebird species breed in the high arctic, and stay on the breeding grounds for only a brief period. Late summer means many of those species are making their southbound migration to their wintering grounds. Join us as we look for many of our shorebird species at some of the best spots around southeastern Connecticut, and learn how you can help these charismatic birds. $10 for members; $15 for non-members.
