Late spring and early summer in Connecticut means the return of our shorebird species, as they stop to breed in the state or continue further north. These birds compete for space with beach goers and shoreline development, and as a result, are often of conservation concern. Join us as we look for many of our shorebird species at some of the best spots around southeastern Connecticut, and learn how you can help these charasmatic birds.
