The birds are much quieter in mid-summer when they focus on raising their young, but there is still plenty to see and hear in July. Join our conservation biologist, Jim Arrigoni in exploring the diverse field, forest and wetland habitats of Deer Pond Farm. Jim will uncover points of natural history interest, as well as explain the management practices used to promote native biodiversity. Flora and fauna to be expected include birds, amphibians, insects, other wildlife and native plants.
This walk will include Jim and ten pre-registered and pre-paid attendees. Member fee: $10 per person. Non-member fee: $15 per person.
