Richard Stone – Bald Eagle
Winter is upon us and presents a beautiful opportunity to capture natures majesty in all of its forms. Few places allow the practicing artist opportunity to view these changes directly while still being warm, comfortable, and in a friendly educational environment. The Coastal Center at Milford Point checks off all of these boxes.
Please join us for this series of 8 classes. We will learn about various watercolor tools, uses, products and techniques. The student will learn simple perspective techniques and composition skills. Drawing avian anatomy and painting exercises with watercolor will allow for experimentation and relaxation. We will look at the key Artists and art history that helped to shape much of what you will be learning, along with understanding how to use light and darks in your work to achieve dimension. This will all be accomplished step by step, class by class, with your Art Education teacher, Jeanne Board- Fayumi.
This series is appropriate for those 18 years of age and above. The class fee includes the use of all drawing and watercolor materials. A smock and a mask are advised, if applicable.
Class is limited to 12 adults. Minimum enrollment of 6 participants for the program to run.
Pricing:
Members $130; Non-members $170. This cost includes the expense of supplies.
Once registered, participants will need to complete a waiver. Email completed waiver to lcrocco@ctaudubon.org
