Roots to Branches: Past, Present & Future of Fairfield’s Urban Forest

Saturday, April 19 from  9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Join us for a community forum concerning Fairfield’s trees as Connecticut State Foresters Chris Donnelly and Rob Rocks address how our past shaped the forests of today.  Learn why it is so important to manage this resource for tomorrow.  Workshop opportunities are available following the presentation including:

  • Tree      planting – the right tree in the right place
  • Pruning
  • Tree      ID/Habitat walks
  • Invasive      tree and shrub identification
