Fun and Easy Tree ID

As autumn approaches, many of the trees in our forests turn color before shedding their leaves. Their colors can be used as an aid to identification. After learning the basics of tree identification, we’ll work with simple tree keys, identify local species, and even try our hand at identifying trees by color. It’s simple, unless of course, it’s compound. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.

The Fun and Easy Tree ID workshop will meet at:

Coastal Center at Milford Point
1 Milford Point Road, Milford, CT

To register, call Louise Crocco, Coastal Center Office Manager, at 203-878-7440 x 502

Fee $20 (CAS member $15)
