Thinking Thursday Walk & Talk: “Citizen Science!”

1.5 – 2.5 miles along mildly hilly trails

Join Deirdra Wallin at Deer Pond Farm for a guided walk along trails with a discussion on citizen science. We will explore the variety of options including eBird, Habitat Network, Project BudBurst and more that provide opportunity for individuals to contribute to scientific research on their own time through the collection and submission of data.

Dress for the weather. Think head, hands and feet! Wool hats, gloves and socks are a really good choice for outdoor fun. Inclement weather cancels. Bring binoculars, camera and a sense of adventure.
