Healing Through Nature: Quigong and Meditation With Gong Classes

Qigong — Tuesdays, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. , March 26 (free introductory class) and April 2, 9, 23, 30 (no class on April 16) and May 7

Meditation with Gong — Thursdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., March 28 (free introductory class) and April 4, 11, 25 (no class on April 18) and May 2, 9

We are excited to offer a new series of classes this spring that explore the powerful, proven health benefits of connecting with nature to release stress, quiet the mind and boost your immune system. Join us for one or both of these different, yet complimentary practices.

Qigong, an ancient Chinese healing practice, incorporates movement, breathing and visualization to cultivate balance and cleanse the body of stress and toxins. The Meditation with Gong class teaches essential breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, cultivate access into your deeper awareness and increase relaxation responses in the body to craft a vibrant inner landscape, letting you thrive in times of change.

Both classes take place in our newly renovated Birdcraft Museum and will incorporate indoor and outdoor elements. The first class of each series will be offered free of charge as introduction. Members $25, Non-members $30. Pre-registration required for all classes. Register below:
