Field Work and Laboratory Techniques for Teachers

What can you do with a group of students in the outdoors and then have enough information
and samples to bring them back into the classroom and fill hours of learning from your field experience?

Join Alberto Mimo on a quest for knowledge on fieldwork. In addition to the workshop, you will also get
a copy of his book “Field and Laboratory Techniques in Ecology and Natural History”.

This workshop is directed to any teacher that wants to go out into the field,
in the school grounds or at a field location, to work with their students in activities related to natural history. The activities are written at an adult level and we will help you modify them for any age group.
This workshop is held at the Coastal Center, 1 Milford Point Road, Milford, CT.
Workshop is limited to 15 teachers.
Fee:  $30.00 (includes book.
