Shells by the Seashore
Sunday, May 5
1 -2 p.m.
Slipper shells and Quahog shells are a few of the many shells that scatter the beach at Milford Point. Can you tell the difference between an Oyster shell and a Clam shell? What about a bivalve and a univalve? Learn about the animals that used to inhabit these shells, how identify them, and their role in the ecosystem. We’ll make a DIY seashell photo frame. A seashell frame will capture the memories of the beach and remind you of everything you learned about shells from the Coastal Center! This is a kid-friendly family program
