Family Friendly Hike

1.5 -2.5 miles over mildly hilly trails

Join Cathy Hagadorn, center director at Deer Pond Farm in Sherman, for fresh air, exercise and fun!

Explore the trails and search for our wintering birds with us. We’ll look and listen for hawks, woodpeckers, owls and more while enjoying wildlife lessons along the way. Also, learn about the 21st Annual Great Backyard Bird Count February 16-19th.

Dress for the weather. Think head, hands and feet! Wool hats, gloves and socks are a really good choice for outdoor fun. Inclement weather cancels. Bring binoculars, camera and a sense of adventure.
