Take in the beauty of the season's foliage with a guided tree identification walk at Deer Pond Farm. Master naturalists Diane Nizlek and John Ehrenreich, who is also the author of Native Trees of Connecticut, will show you how to identify the different types of trees and their unique characteristics. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of fall foliage and learn why the leaves of deciduous trees change color and fall to the ground.

Led by retired Pomfret Community School kindergarten teacher, Carolyn Otto, the morning will be full of fun adventures. Dress for the weather. Register by calling 860-928-4948.
