  • Coastal Waterbirds Conversation with Patrick Comins

Coastal Waterbirds Conversation with Patrick Comins

    March 18, 2018

Migrating shorebirds will soon be winging their way north, some stay to nest and others continue onwards.

Connecticut Audubon Society’s Executive Director Patrick Comins will speak about our conservation partnership with Audubon Connecticut and the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History to conserve nesting waterbirds along the coast of Connecticut.

Discover the important role that Milford Point plays in the conservation of both nesting and migratory shorebirds.

Please join us for an afternoon of information about the birds inhabiting our shorelines. This program is for adults and children ages 12 and up. This program is held at the Coastal Center, 1 Milford Point Road.

    Connecticut Audubon members $5; non-members $10.
