Backyard birding is social and fun for all ages. Join Cathy Hagadorn, Deer Pond Farm Center Director and Deirdra Wallin as we review the basics of bird ID, how to best attract winter birds to your feeder and how to make your yard a birding destination. We’ll display a few bird feeders and share some fun facts about our local Sherman birds!

First Aid training with hands-on scenarios that provide realistic experiences! Completion of this course meets the Connecticut Summer Camp Licensing Boards’ First Aid Requirements. This is a great course for scout leaders. Accepted as a re-certification course for WFR (80 hour first responder).
Please register ASAP since space is limited to 20 participants.
Fee: $220 includes snacks and drinks.
