Become a Citizen Science Volunteer! We will be searching for animal track and sign and documenting the presence of large mammals such as fisher, river otter, black bear, and bobcat. Trained volunteers monitor study sites in Willington, Canterbury, & Woodstock quarterly. Training fee per hike: $50 CAS members; $60 non-members. If you’ve ever wanted to be a part of a team that works to protect and conserve our natural environment, then you won’t want to miss our Volunteer Open House!
Volunteers help us in many ways: as teachers, hosts for reception and the nature store, at special events, and in the sanctuary. There are opportunities for those with skills in gardening, animal care, administrative work, publicity and more.

Skywalker has been reunited with his friend Chrysos a female Golden Eagle and joined by Atka the Bald Eagle. Come see these magnificent birds of prey at the Center at Pomfret.
