Skywalker has been reunited with his friend Chrysos, a female Golden Eagle and joined by Atka the Bald Eagle. Come and see these magnificent birds of prey at the Center at Pomfret. Join us at the Coastal Center at Milford Point on for a free member event on Sunday, February 19 from 1-3PM to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count.
Staff will be on hand to explain the counting procedure, help you identify birds, and show you how to fill out your bird count data forms. Stop by at any point within those two hours – be prepared to commit at least 15 continuous minutes to count birds when you arrive. You never know what you might see!

It’s Back!
Center volunteer and mom of three, Melissa Telford will entertain your toddlers with stories, activities and winter fun along our trails. Wear clothes and boots appropriate for the cold weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost per child per day: $5 CAS members; $7 non-members. Cost for entire series: $35 CAS members; $45 non-members.
