Peepers, wood frogs and spotted salamanders congregate at these vernal pools. Our trained volunteers search vernal pools for these breeding amphibians and their egg masses. Climbing, jumping, crawling & flying: animals move through their habitat in many different ways. Explore the variety of ways animals move as they find food, build nests, avoid predators and protect their young. Then practice your ‘animal” skills through hands-on activities and games. Each day there’ll be plenty of outdoor discovery time at the beach, marsh, and upland area of the Coastal Center. Different outdoor explorations, crafts, stories, and games planned for each day.
Each child should bring a water bottle, a peanut & nut free snack and lunch.
Rain boots and outdoor jackets are a must as we will be exploring the beach and marsh each day.
This vacation break join us for one, two, or all three days!
