Join conservation biologist Jim Arrigoni on a gentle walk, looking for the hardy species that remain throughout the New England winter. We will also discuss the topic of feeding birds, which not only helps our feathered friends get through scarce times, it also is a great way to observe and learn more about certain species. Allow for an average of two hours and 1.5 -2 miles. Dress for the weather. Think head, hands and feet! Wool hats, gloves and socks are really good choices. Bring water bottle, walking stick, binoculars, camera and a sense of adventure. Inclement weather cancels.
