A fundraiser for Trail Wood featuring the 2016 Writers & Artists In-Residence and the Trail Wood inspired music of Maria Sangiolo.

Toddler Trails and Tales

It’s Back!

Center volunteer and mom of three, Melissa Telford will entertain your toddlers with stories, activities and winter fun along our trails. Wear clothes and boots appropriate for the cold weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost per child per day: $5 CAS members; $7 non-members. Cost for entire series: $35 CAS members; $45 non-members.

Additional Winter Tracking Hikes

Sat. February 4 – Training hike;  location TBA

March 4 – Woodstock training/monitoring hike Willington/Canterbury to be added.

All hikes are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and subject to change due to weather. Full training is six hikes; participants select hikes that suit their schedule throughout the year. Registration is required. Training fee per hike: $50 CAS members/$60 non-members.

Wildlife Tracking & Monitoring Training/monitoring Hike

Become a Citizen Science Volunteer! We will be searching for animal track and sign and documenting the presence of large mammals such as fisher, river otter, black bear, and bobcat. Trained volunteers monitor study sites in Willington, Canterbury, & Woodstock quarterly. Training fee per hike: $50 CAS members; $60 non-members.
