Come interact one-on-one with critters from our live animal collection including     reptiles, amphibians, birds and invertebrates. From glamorous to gross, you’ll learn about animal husbandry care, prepare and offer their food, and ensure they have a healthy living environment. Join us for outdoor fun and adventure as spring unfolds in the Larsen Sanctuary. We’ll listen for frogs calling, view turtles sunning and watch birds journey back from their winter travels. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Cost for 10-week series: $108 for CAS Members; $144 for non-members.       Individual class fee: $12/class for CAS members; $16/class for non-members.  Preprgistration required.  Call 203-259-6305 ext. 109.

Build a Birdfeeder

There's nothing like a handmade feeder to get birds of a feather flocking together — to your yard. We'll show you several ways to upcycle everyday recyclable finds and materials from nature to make feeders that your feathered friends will love.

Peeper Prowl
