With over 835 acres of diverse habitats supporting over 100 species of birds, Deer Pond Farm is perfect for looking and listening for a wide variety of birds, while collecting data for the Connecticut Bird Atlas project. Each walk has a different theme and though we cannot guarantee you’ll see the themed bird during the walk, we will provide information on the species and show their preferred habitat as well as nesting boxes we have installed .
