Bird and Nature Walk

Sunday, September 24
9 a.m. – Noon

Please join Stefan Martin for a free bird and nature walk at Milford Point this coming Sunday, September 24 starting at 9 a.m. at the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point, 1 Milford Point Rd, Milford, CT.   (note the coastal center itself will not be open until noon, so please plan accordingly bathroom wise).

Stefan serves as the seasonal Land Steward at Stratford Point for Audubon Connecticut.  He is an avid outdoorsman and has been leading bird walks for several years for a variety of organizations and is a talented and well-rounded naturalist and a passionate conservationist.   This is a great time to see late migrant shorebirds/wintering shorebirds including Marbled Godwit, Sanderling, Dunlin, Semipalmated Sandpipers, Black-bellied Plovers etc. In addition to shorebirds, the group will hopefully see migrating passerines such as Warblers and fall sparrows.  The walk will run from 9 AM to noon.
