Animal Care Volunteers Needed

Our Animal Care Program provides a unique opportunity for teenagers, ages 13-18 years old, to assist with daily feeding, habitat cleaning and general animal care housekeeping, as well as the handling of our animals under direct supervision. Our live animal residents include permanently injured or otherwise human-dependent reptiles, birds and mammals which are an integral part of our educational programming.

Volunteer hours during the school year are Tuesday through Friday from 3 – 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. – noon. Summer volunteer hours change to Tuesday through Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10.a.m. – noon.
