Shinrin-Yoku: Forest Breathing Walk – CANCELLED
Saturday, September 14
11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Experience the restorative health benefits of nature during a guided woodland walk based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku. In Japanese, shinrin means forest, and yoku refers to bathing the mind and body in green space.
Harvard-trained health educator Dr. Roxanne Daleo will lead this gentle walk which she refers to as “forest breathing.” It is designed to help decompress from everyday stress by taking in the forest atmosphere with all of your senses and breathing deeply to experience the healing power of nature.
Learn how immersion in a quiet forest setting is a powerful, effective way to slow down and achieve mind/body healing, and replenishment of inner and outer balance. Click here learn more about Shinrin-Yoku and instructor Dr. Roxanne Daleo.
Members $15; Non-members $20. Adults only. This event has been cancelled.
