Watercolor Workshop for Beginners

Starting a new hobby in watercolor painting can be easy! In this two-day workshop, you’ll learn about the different approaches to the art of watercolor, learn techniques and create your own nature painting. This workshop is a great way to dip your toe into this versatile art form.
Participants are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (mask removal at the discretion of the program leader). The entire program is outdoors, so please bring water, a sun hat and apply sunblock and bug spray before arriving. Note: Center building and facilities (including restrooms) are closed, so please plan accordingly.
Space is limited so sign up today! $50 Members, $55 Non-members. Adults only. Basic supplies required for class include a child’s set of 6-8 watercolors, a pad of watercolor paper, a size 10 or 12 watercolor brush that comes to a point, a small watercolor brush, a plastic quart container for water, a pencil and an eraser.
