Monday, October 18
8 to 10 a.m.

Fall is a perfect time to visit the woods and fields of the Larsen Sanctuary to view both resident birds and visiting migrants. Join Connecticut Audubon’s Habitat Steward Stefan Martin on an early morning walk to identify different species and learn about their habitat and food preferences.

At this time of year, we hope to see newly arrived sparrow species such as Lincoln’s Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow and White-throated Sparrows’ or similar.

Members $10, Non-members $15. Pre-registration required. Click here to register.

This walk is geared for adults; all levels of birders welcome. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Once registered, participants will need to complete a waiver. While outdoors, expect to practice social distancing; mask wearing will be optional (but subject to change). Masks and social distancing will be required if you need to enter the facility for any reason. This program is held at the Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield, CT.
