10 – 11:30 a.m.
Grade K – 4
Our small group educational program for homeschooled students includes outdoor explorations in our sanctuary as well as hands-on activities to help reinforce the concepts of each session. This program will be primarily outdoors, please wear appropriate outdoor gear, sturdy footwear. While outdoors, participants are expected to practice physical distancing; mask wearing will be optional (but subject to change). Masks and physical distancing will be required if entering the facility for any reason (but subject to change). Sign up for one session or sign up for them all!
Participants will need to complete a waiver and return to our office manager.
Waivers will also be available the day of the program.
Members $15/child/class; Non-members $20/child/class

Wednesday, March 23
Learn how plants and animals have adapted to their ever-changing environment. We will observe animals and plants in the sanctuary to identify the external structures that them survive in all seasons.

Wednesday, April 6
Develop a greater understanding of water as a natural resource and human impacts on water. Learn about the location and distribution of water on Earth, and the journey water takes as it moves around our planet through the water cycle activity.
