Launch party! “The Naturalists’ Guide to Migration Magic 2025” — a free Zoom program
April 10, 2025—You’re invited to a special free Zoom presentation to help you get the most enjoyment out of spring migration and help us launch Migration Magic 2025.
It’s called “The Naturalists’ Guide to Migration Magic 2025,” and it’s scheduled for Wednesday, April 16, 7 p.m.
The program will feature short and lively presentations from Connecticut Audubon’s best bird experts. It’s designed to introduce you to this year’s Migration Magic bird celebration, to show you the dozens of ways you can participate, and to pass along pro tips from the people who protect birds for a living.
It’s free but we ask that you RSVP here!
Like Migration Magic itself, the Zoom presentation is for all skill levels. Connecticut Audubon staff, including Milan Bull, Lori Lichtenauer, Stefan Martin, Deb Eccleston, Joe Attwater, and Matt Bell, will cover everything from the basics of binoculars and eBird to bird-finding strategies for the Migration Magic Birdathon.
Migration Magic is a month-long celebration of the wonder of bird migration in Connecticut, with activities for all ages and experience levels.
It’s scheduled for May 1 through 31, 2025. Migration Magic is an important fundraiser for bird conservation in Connecticut.
Migration Magic includes 60 bird walks and programs throughout the state. One of the highlights is a fundraising Birdathon for people of all ages and all skill levels. Last year’s event raised $31,000, and we’re hoping that you can help us equal and exceed that in 2025.
Please join us at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, for this free program.
