8 Days Left to Join the Fun—Migration Magic Birdathon Is Still Going Strong!

There’s still time to join the celebration!

Migration Magic, our month-long festival of birds and birding, runs through May 31, 2025—as of today, May 23, there are 8 more days to participate in the Birdathon and Birdathon Photo Contest to support bird conservation right here in Connecticut.

What is Migration Magic?
It’s a festive celebration of the most exciting time of year for bird lovers—spring migration. All month, we’ve been hosting bird walks, nature programs, and family-friendly activities to help people of all ages experience the joy of birding. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned birder, there’s something for you.

Still Time to Join the Birdathon!
The Migration Magic Birdathon is a fun and friendly competition to see (or hear) as many bird species as you can throughout May. You can participate for as few or as many days as you like—as long as it’s in Connecticut (or the NY section of Deer Pond Farm). It’s just $10 to register, and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

When you register and make a pledge or donation, you’re supporting bird conservation in the state — all proceeds support vital bird conservation work across Connecticut.
