Nightjars
Wednesday, October 15; 6-7 pm
When we think of nocturnal birds, we quickly go to owls as the main denizens of the night. But nightjars are another unique family of birds that are most active when many of us have turned in for the day. In this webinar, Conservation & Education Coordinator Joe Attwater will discuss this fascinating group of birds and how they have adapted to living in low light. Joe will discuss behaviors and adaptations, species found in Connecticut and, threats and conservation issues.
