Junior Animal Care Keepers

Currently enrolled in Grades 6 & 7 5-week series: $60/child CAS members; $80/child Non-members Thursdays: March 17, 24, 31 and April 7, 14 – 3:30-5 p.m. Fridays: March 18, 25 and April 1, 8, 15 – 3:30-5 p.m. Did you ever wonder what it is like behind the scenes at CT Audubon? Sign up for Junior Animal Care Keepers and become part of the team maintaining the health of the animals that we use for our education programs. From glamorous to gross, this eight-week session will cover the many aspects of animal care. CAS teacher/naturalists guide you through the care and keeping of our education animals: invertebrates, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and the birds. Come join us for some cleaning, feeding, grooming, and fun. At the end of the course each participant receives certificate of completion. Space is limited. Advance registration required.
