These three artists from Thompson approach nature and their art from very different perspectives. Francis Kornbluth’s art is a synthesis of experience and perception, transforming raw materials into personal statements. The natural environment has been her ongoing source of imagery and inspiration. Donna O’Scolaigh Lange’s background in illustration helps her find the story in everyday scenes, resulting in her evocative landscapes of New England, and Ann C. Rosebrooks’s acrylic paintings are a combination of landscapes and people, painted from memory and fantast, observing and interpreting reality. Free to the public. A percentage from all sales will benefit the Center at Pomfret.
