Matching Challenges in August!
Dear Friend,
The summer season means birds are breeding and fledging, staff and volunteers are out managing the trails, and summer camp is in full swing. Summer comes with its challenges. But in this case, they’re good ones.
Several generous donors gave us 3 challenges…they offered to match up to $10,000 for the Center at Glastonbury, up to $50,000 for the Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center in Old Lyme, and our newest challenge – up to $5,000 for conservation statewide!
Every single penny of these challenges will protect habitats for wildlife, provide conservation education, and increase community programming, all benefiting Connecticut’s environment…and our donors have asked us to try to meet the match by the end of August!
One match supporter was so pleased with the response last month that they added to their campaign!
And another long-time supporter was so impressed with how many concerned conservationists came together for Connecticut’s future, they too generously offered to match your donation.
I am thrilled to announce we now have several donors committed to invest in the future of our state. And you can join them!
All gifts designated to the Center at Glastonbury, Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center and State programs will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Will you take this opportunity to maximize your impact today?
Whether protecting critical habitats, advocating statewide for responsible conservation practices, or providing kids with high-quality environmental education, we depend on you, to remain the leading conservation partner in your community.
Thank you for all that you do for Connecticut’s environment.
Sincerely,
Patrick M. Comins
Executive Director
