Do you want to know what you are seeing and hearing? Would you like to see some field guides, phone apps and other tools that help with identification? Have you ever contributed data to a citizen science project? We’ll discuss observation skills and tips, including bird size & shape, color, behavior and habitat. We will also provide an introduction to eBird, the CT Bird Atlas and the NY Bird Atlas as well as opportunities to participate in citizen science. Instructor: Deirdra Wallin, CT Audubon Program Manager at Deer Pond Farm.
