Enjoy an escape to clear mountain waters, lakes abundant with native trout, and the brightest star-filled nights you've ever seen - all in the beautiful woods of Maine. Visit places where Frederick Church painted landscapes of Mount Katahdin. Get away and roam among the moose, carnivorous pitcher plants and sundew, orchids, and birds unique to this northern habitat. The big target is Spruce Grouse but should also include other hard-to-find species like Black-backed and Three-toed Woodpeckers. Leader: Andy Griswold
