Not all birds construct cup-shaped nests in trees or shrubs. Many species depend on cavities within the wood of tree trucks and limbs to safely raise their young, and these are some of the easiest species to assist by adding nest boxes to the landscape. While taking a gentle walk on trails through meadow and forest habitats, conservation biologist Jim Arrigoni will showcase a variety of nest boxes intended for three different kinds of birds (Eastern Bluebird, Wood Duck & Purple Martin) and share information about how you might be able to attract these and other species to your habitat!
