Rarely seen courtship photos of over 50 species of waterbirds from 5 continents, including many endangered species. The birds perform spirited displays and courtship dances to impress each other while they pair up for their annual rituals. Free to the public.

An introduction to nature for children ages 3 - 5 and their favorite adult.
Discover the wonders of nature through stories, a nature lesson, and a craft to do together.
This month explore the world of slugs and bugs.

Toddler Trails and Tales
Center volunteer and mom of three, Melissa Telford will entertain your toddlers with stories, activities and winter fun along our trails. Wear clothes and boots appropriate for the cold weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost per child per day: $5 CAS members; $7 non-members. Cost for entire series: $35 CAS members; $45 non-members.

Junior Animal Care Keeper

Students in grades 6 and 7
Help care for the resident non-releasable animals who live at the Center. From gross to glamorous, learn about animal husbandry care, preparing and offering food and ensuring they have a healthy environment. Six-week series: members $60/child: non-members $80/child.
