Early Morning Bird Walks with Miley Bull

Join Miley Bull, senior director of science and conservation for The Connecticut Audubon Society for early morning bird walks at Deer Pond Farm in Sherman, CT. Deer Pond Farm has over 835 acres, offers diverse habitats, and supports over 100 species of birds. We’ll be looking and listening for a wide variety of birds, while collecting data for The Connecticut Bird Atlas project. All levels of birders are welcome!

Allow for an average of two hours. Dress for walks that cover approximately 1.5 miles along moderately hilly terrain and the weather. Inclement weather cancels. Bring binoculars, camera and a sense of adventure.
