Naturalist-Guided Walks for Small Groups
Thursday, July 16 – registration closed
Friday, July 17 – SOLD OUT
9 – 11 a.m.
Looking for private, outdoor, small group drop-off activities for your kids? Then “take a walk on the wild side” with us to see what’s happening in the natural world on this small group, guided walk at the Coastal Center at Milford Point.
A Connecticut Audubon staff naturalist will provide individualized attention on this specially designed exploration, which is limited to a maximum of four pre-registered and pre-paid attendees. Explore the salt marsh, tide pools and Pollinator Garden.
Participants are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (mask removal at the discretion of the program leader). The entire program is outdoors, so please bring water, a sun hat and apply sunblock and bug spray before arriving. Note: Center building and facilities (including restrooms) are closed, however, there are portable toilets available (please bring hand sanitizer).
$100 per group (max of four to a group). Drop off for kids ages 8 and up (family groups also welcome!) In case of rain, the program will be rescheduled. Pre-registration required by one person on behalf of the group; please click below to register. Once registered, group participants will need to complete a waiver. This program is at the Coastal Center, 1 Milford Point Road, Milford, CT. Registration closes at 8 p.m. on the night before the program.
